As both the owner and designer of The Purple Onyx Nail Salon’s website, I’m constantly looking for ways to push boundaries and elevate my craft. This redesign was an opportunity to experiment with new tools, layouts, and features that better reflect the salon’s creativity and sophistication.
I aimed to upgrade not just the aesthetics but also the functionality. From exploring advanced booking systems to refining e-commerce layouts, this project was a chance to bring fresh ideas to life while enhancing the user experience.
This redesign was fueled by a drive to create a modern, user-friendly experience. Key upgrades include:

Testing Amelia Booking for its streamlined interface but leaning toward the customizability and robust features of WooCommerce Booking.
Improved product displays for a clean, intuitive shopping experience.
Refreshed the visuals and layout to align with the salon’s bold and creative personality.
Ensured a flawless experience for users on all devices, as always.
The updated website now reflects the high-quality services The Purple Onyx Nail Salon provides. The enhanced e-commerce layouts make browsing and purchasing products easier for clients, while the new animations and graphics add a modern touch to the site. Testing Amelia Booking offered valuable insights, but the choice to return to WooCommerce Booking ensures the platform is as flexible as the salon’s offerings.
